How to Get Your Dog Comfortable in the G-Train Backpack
How can I help my dog become comfortable with riding in the G-Train?
It’s a great question that we receive all the time.
There are many reasons why you may want to start carrying your dog in the G-train pack. If you just adopted a new puppy, for example, it might take some trial and error before finding out how long she can walk at one time. For the times when you find yourself 15 minutes from home with a tired pup who is done walking; you can use the G-train to safely carry her back. It’s also handy if you have a senior or special needs dog who loves the outdoors, but just can’t keep up with the rest of the pack. Dogs are social creatures who love being part of the action with their human.
We realize that a dog carrier may seem scary or uncomfortable for pups who have never seen one before. With a little preparation and a lot of practice, however, most dogs will love hanging out in the backpack—after all, they get a bird’s eye view without having to lift a paw.
